DeveloperRelese１は来週 - Einstein Proj.
盛り上がってきたアインシュタイン・プロジェクト。
ATA Supportの頃からPaulとは何度かメールのヤリトリをしていたので、今回も作者へ突撃インタビューしてみました。
やぁ、ポール。久しぶり。
アインシュタイン・プロジェクトはスゴイね。ありがとう。
ぜひ君のNewtonエミュレータでアプレットを動かしたいと思っているんだけど、パッケージをNewtonエミュレータにインストールするには、どうすればいいんだい。
Einstein.rexファイルにはNewtTestがインストールしてあるようだけど、同じようにパッケージを.rexファイルにインストールする方法を教えてくれないか？

メールありがとう。ClubNewton見てみたけど、レポートしてくれたんだね。ボクはSketchMailの大ファンなんだ。
デベロッパープレビュー3（DP3)ではパッケージはまだインストールできないけど、デベロッパーリリース1（DR1）からはできるようにするつもり。昨日パッケージをインストールした時-48604エラーがでてたから、もうちょっとかかるかなぁ。たぶんDR1は、来週リリースできると思う。.rexはNewton C++のRexツールを使ってパッケージされているから、パッケージを付け足したいのならやってみればどうだい。

驚いたことにPaulのメールの返事は日本語だった（Mail arigatou みたいな）。
今年の４月から５ヶ月間、東京へ滞在するらしく「日本語をもうちょっと上手にならなきゃ」って言ってました。XGAエミュレータ画面のロケール第２都市にTokyo-Japanがあったのは、そういう意味だったのかぁ！
ということは、それまでにアインシュタイン・プロジェクトを一段落させるということかな？
うー、楽しみだ。日本に来たらポールにラーメンおごってやろう（笑）。
（鮨は別の人が銀座でおごってくれると思うので）

ラーメンをすごく食べたい！
DR１にはXGAサイズだけではなく、サイズを決めるようになることだ。
東京へ行くのはうれしいけど、画面のロケール第２都市にTokyo-JapanのはNewtonOSのdefault preferenceなのだ。
