Einstein - DR1
EinsteinエミュレータのDR1がリリースされています。
Einstein Proj.ホームページの LATEST NEWS の日付が変わっていなかったので見逃していました。２７日のリリースだったんですね。今回のリリースではいくつかの改善がなされていますが、やっぱり注目なのはパッケージのインストールができるようになったこと。ClubNewtonでも各種アプレットをインストールして試している真っ最中です。
んで、画面が正方形のNewtonはこんな感じ（笑）
一番最初にインストールしたのは、やはりバスケさんの TapBar。定番です。ボクの作った Shrinkや NoteSliderなど軽めの機能拡張も入れてみましたが動きもなかなかグッドな感じ。
日本語環境にカスタマイズしようとすると大きなパッケージが必要となりますが、現状ではサイズの大きなパッケージがインストールエラーを起こすような感じがします。なので、まだ日本語環境になっていません。
それでも充分楽しいですが（笑）
フラッシュメモリが保存されるようになったことで前回起動時の状態に復帰しますので、いろいろと試行錯誤しやすくなりました。Flashという名前の８MBのファイルに稼働状態が納められていて、これを単純にファイルコピーしておくことで、そのときの状態をバックアップできるわけです。コンソールからの起動オプションではFlashファイル名を指定して起動できるので、いろんなインストールを試してみることもできますね。
DR1では、その他にも改善点がありますが追ってレポートします。お楽しみに！

Einsteinと同梱されているROM Dumperを使うのが一番手っ取り早いと思います。コメントをみんなと一元共有したいので、別の記事としてスレッド立てます。そちらを見てくださいね。
